Our team is starting the year on a high: For the Creative Circle Awards (GONG), MullenLowe Singapore won a total of 20 metals — 10 Gold, 3 Silver and 7 Bronze. We ranked second, behind only Ogilvy, whose incredible performance deserves our congratulations.

Remarkably, all 20 of our shortlisted entries converted into metals — boasting a perfect conversion rate.

This landmark achievement at the Singapore AdMarCom Festival 2025 is a testament to the exceptional work our team creates as well as a reflection of our drive to craft ideas that resonate deeply with audiences and make an impact on the global stage.

From the US to Turkey, Singapore to India, our campaigns for clients CLEAR, Lifebuoy, Youthline, Smile Makers, and MDDI were not only seen locally but celebrated globally. This demonstrates our ability to ideate and execute work from Singapore that speaks to the world — understanding and bridging cultures with creativity.

Our Copywriter Peh Xin Ying clinched the Young Copywriter of the Year award, marking the third time in the last four years a creative from our agency has bagged the award.

Xin Ying tells us how she felt when she found out about her win. “Honestly, it was part relief, part elation. I know how hard the teams have worked to bring the winning campaigns to fruition. We managed to convert all 20 shortlists at Gongs and for that I think we deserve to pat ourselves on the back. Some of these campaigns have been in the works since Covid, so seeing all the teams bag awards for their efforts felt like a gratifying full-circle moment.”

Would she like to thank anyone in particular? Xin Ying says, “Honestly, if I had to mention everyone, this list would never end. But I would be remiss not to mention Daniel and Sheng Jin. They took a chance on hiring little Malaysian me back in 2021, and I’ve been indebted to them ever since. I can only hope I’ve delivered on all fronts and more. And, of course, the A+ team of people who worked on The Rooms that Remain and Audioboobs. A special shoutout to Liyana, Heizal and Kin Lin — these ladies are my ride-or-dies.”

And now Xin Ying is looking forward to giving her parents a hug when she returns home to Penang for Chinese New Year.

“I can now offer them some reassurance that uprooting my life for Singapore three years ago was the right decision. Oh, and have time for a hearty bowl of Assam Laksa.”
